WELCOME TO FOX COVERT RC PRIMARY SCHOOL. Fox Covert R.C. is a denominational Primary School serving the west of Edinburgh. We aim to create an atmosphere which encompasses all the values of a Catholic School.

Learning Environment Fox Covert RC Primary School offers a positive learning environment in which children are praised and rewarded for the success they achieve. The children of the school are confident and hardworking, responsible and enthusiastic, contributing fully to the positive ethos of our school. There are a number of current key initiatives in which our pupils play a vital and effective role. These include the development of our Health Promoting Schools status, our charitable links with the Tong Len foundation in northern India and our onging work to achieve Green Flag Eco Status. Our school is very well resourced in technology. We recognise the important role that Information Communication Technology (ICT) plays in the lives of our children and as a result identify it as a key learning tool in today's society. Our Computer suite provides children with the ideal setting in which to learn and develop complex technological skills. The installation of interactive whiteboards in classrooms has enhanced the learning and teaching thoughout the school and been an inspiration to both staff and pupils.
Pupils are always encouraged to work to the best of their ability and staff are fully committed to developing themselves to provide the best learning and teaching opportunities. The excellent ethos that exists within our school comes through our belief in working together. We value partnership with parents and believe that working co-operatively with home, school and parish will enhance your child's learning. Our recently formed Parent Council is very active and offers a strong voice to support the work of the school. Strong links exist with St. John's, Corstorphine and St. Kentigern's, Barnton with Fr George Suszko.
